Ok -- this picture is just for fun. I am a little worried she's going to be as dramatic as her older sister looking at this, however!

You can't see it at all, but she has a 'glow' about her in this picture. We took Hayden back for her blood tests on Wed., and her bilirubin levels came back really high so they sent us home for more phototherapy and a 'bili-blanket'.

It all comes packaged neatly in this little bag. Looks harmless enough... I figured after all the technology we have a school (laptops, SmartBoards, Elmo's, teaching a computer class...) that it couldn't be that hard. It wasn't. BUT-- I still had to sit through a 30 minute 'in-service' for the thing!!

There is some assembly required.

You plug it all together and turn the machine on -- and it looks like you're ready to make photocopies.

Next you need a mostly naked baby, and you strap her in and re-dress her. (Feedings and diaper changes take forEVER now!!)

Then you plug her in and you're all set. We're hoping to be done with all of this by the weekend so we can hold a baby without any attachments - literally!!

What a contraption!! Hopefully all is working well and you will able to enjoy holding her without all the equipment.
